Our new Bridal jewelry line is now available. The line has over 100 engagement mountings and matching bands. If you are shopping for an engagement ring or considering re-mounting your existing diamond, you have to see our new line of rings. All are avilable in 14k, 18k & platinum. White gold and yellow gold are also options available.

Sales Tax Weekend was a huge success. Thanks to all our customers who took advantage of our sale and the sales tax free and enjoyed great savings over the weekend.

Labor Day Weekend! We are closing early on Friday, Aug. 29 at 2pm and remaining closed all weekend to enjoy the Labor Day holiday with our families.

The State of Mass. has declared Sat., August 16 & Sun., Aug 17 Sales Tax Free Weekend. We will be open both days for this event. You can read more details in our August Newsletter (link above).

We are back from vacation and back to our regular business hours. We won't have another scheduled closing until Labor Day weekend and our next vacation closing isn't until after Christmas.

This week gold spiked again to above $950 per ounce. This is good news for anyone looking to sell their old gold or unwanted jewelry.

Vacation ends this weekend and we will be re-open at 9:30am on Tuesday, July 15. We had a great rest. We'll be totally re-energized and ready to serve all our customers this week. See you Tuesday!

Our annual two week summer vacation begins today. We will be closed until Monday, July 14, 2008. We will re-open on Tuesday, July 15 @9:30am.

Have a happy and safe 4th of July. Don't forget our troops overseas. Our staff will be thinking about our family members in the military - Mark Snyder's nephew Gregg Snyder Jr. (82 Airborne stationed in Iraq), Meghan's brother Kevin (a Lt. in the US Navy - 2 tours in Persian Gulf) and Maureen's nephew John who just left for boot camp last week. Of course we will be thinking of all the other men and women in the armed forces as well, keeping us safe.

Today we held a gold buying event in the lobby of the South Shore Hospital. It was huge success. We were able to pay over 30 employees for their gold and give them some extra spending money for the summer season. We will also be making a sizeable donation to the Friends of the South Shore Hospital for allowing us to be there. Remember, you don't need to wait for us to have a special event to sell us your gold. We buy old gold and unwanted jewelry as a normal part of our daily business. Just a reminder we close at 6pm this Friday evening (6/27) and will remain closed for our 2 week summer vacation until July 13.

We just received a fantastic .73ct round brilliant cut diamond from a supplier. It is a GIA certified D color / VS2 clarity diamond with a cut grade of Very Good. If you have never seen a D color diamond you should really visit our store to see this. It is a breathtaking diamond! It is also priced well at $4900 - unmounted.

2 weeks until our annual 2 week vacation. We are closed June 28-July 13. Please plan accordingly and let us know if you need any special arrangements before we close.

This week, I was out all week and Meghan, Maureen and Robin ran the store magnificently. It is very nice to have such a great staff, that can handle anything! I apologize to any customer who was shocked by our abbreviated hours this past week. It was the only way we could stay open while I was out.

I was out to attend a 5-day diamond grading lab with the Gemoligical Institute of America (GIA). GIA brought their mobile lab and instructors to Boston, so it was a perfect opportunity for me to attend. This was the final requirement for me to achieve my Graduate Diamonds degree from GIA. Yes, I passed. More importantly I acquired several new skills for grading, measuring and evaluating diamonds. These skills will make our diamond purchasing even more precise and assist in our ability to purchase higher quality inventory. We will also be able to educate our customers in all aspects of a diamonds clarity, color and the all important cut grade.

We found out that we won the Reader's Choice Poll as "Best Jeweler in Weymouth" for the third year in a row! I consider this to be a huge honor and I appreciate everyone who took the time to vote for us. Winning this award year after year validates all of our hard work and dedication over the years. It is wonderful to know that our customers really appreciate us and the effot we make to create a positive experience every time they come to our store. Thank You!

Gold Prices have topped $900 per ounce once again. As we have advised in the past, this is a very god time to collect up old gold and sell it. Most customers are amazed at how much a small handful of broken chains, earrings and bracelets will add up to.

We will be closed next weekend for Memorial Day. Closed Friday through Monday, which we do every year. Please enjoy a safe weekend.
